Pancakes are the thing in our house now. Baby Girl always ask for them for breakfast.
But I mean who can blame her. Fluffy, buttery, syrupy pancake are the best.
Pancakes are so yummy that even Snack Boy aka Baby Boy loves them.
Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 3/4 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup sprinkles
Directions:
- Heat a griddle to 350
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. (I use big heaping tablespoons of sugar)
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, butter, eggs, vanilla and almond extract.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture and mix until combined. Do not over mix
- Gently stir in sprinkles.
- Pour about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
I cannot emphasize enough for people to try almond extract in their pancake mix. It is so good. I know I have said this before. Try it!
Keep cooking friends!
